Fr. Jon Goman has been the Chaplain at Saint Anselm of Canterbury for many years. He holds a Doctorate of Religion from Southern California School of Theology at Claremont (where he was a Danforth Fellow) with an additional year of study at Cambridge University in England. He is known for the depth and range of his pastoral care as well as his ability to bring the scriptures alive in his sermons. He is guided by the principle that the intellect is a divine gift to be used in our spiritual development.
Lucy Goman is the music director at Saint Anselm. In addition
to being an accredited music teacher, she is a member of the
Hymn
Society of the United States and Canada. Under her energetic
leadership Saint Anselm has one of the finest music programs of any
small church in Oregon. She writes hymns, accompanies the worship
services, and trains and encourages vocal and instrumental soloists.
