Spiritual Nurture Committee

 Spiritual Nurture Committee Forms

A new committee has formed and has met twice, with great enthusiasm and a myriad of ideas.

Cammie Bella is the current chair person, and is joined by Steve Amsberry, Bill Becker, Linda Gelbrich, Richard Halter, Craig Massie, Elinor Denton, Carolyn Olsen, and Desiree Senechal. Our Vestry Liaison is Kristi Amsberry. Our mission statement is: to nurture and empower the people of God on their spiritual journeys. Our theme for this year is "Presence" - the intentional openness to being fully present to whoever we are with at any given moment. We have short and long-range goals and have delineated those activities which we feel called to develop and facilitate and others which we feel called to assist with if asked (e.g. in the form of helping with publicity and ideas). Please feel free to ask any of us for more specifics and/or a copy of our meeting minutes. These will be available eventually on our Good Sam website.

The energy and enthusiasm is gathering and growing at Good Sam. We're convinced the Holy Spirit is actively stirring our hearts to engage in the various ministry areas, as we discern our particular callings. Along with our individual and collective spiritual deepening, we feel It is through these small group affiliations that our Christ-centered actions are amplified and expressed.
